The Road CIC

The Road is a community interest company run by Lewis Pickles and Elise Harbud. They create quarterly Zines which focus on mental health, self acceptance and community building. They created the Zine to remind people that mental health is not a journey one must go on alone. We are all on this road together and we can all support one another. The Zines feature artwork and writing from a variety of South London artists and is beautifully designed into unique Zines available to buy by Harry Fisher. 20% of all proceeds from sales of the The Road go to The Mental Health Foundation.

After wide success in South East London, the team were interviewed by 'Many Reasons to be Cheerful' and featured in their December 2021 Annual. 

The Road CIC are currently looking for funding to allow the team to go into community settings and deliver bespoke creative writing and visual arts for mental health workshops, which then will culminate in the team creating a personalised Zine for the setting to keep.
